Then finally… Marvin arrived at the front steps of the very spooky house.

Everything was quiet, nothing seemed to be moving, no one was around, there wasn’t the faintest whisper, and nothing made even the slightest sound.

Then suddenly, from out of nowhere, a big squeaking scary bat came flying, flapping, flipping, flitting, and swiftly swooping down.

It startled Marvin so much that

he ducked and dropped his bag

and flashlight and tumbled to the ground. After he did, the big scary bat disappeared from sight, and was nowhere to be found.
